Nowadays, with the development of modern technology, many industries have applied cooling fans. With the changes in application and environmental temperature, different speed fans are sometimes needed to meet the needs. Cooling fans have the characteristics of long operating life, low vibration, and low noise. So everyone is familiar with cooling fans What is the working principle of is that okay? Now, Shenzhen Yingtian Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. will introduce it to you.
Working principle of cooling fan:
A cooling fan is a new type of electromechanical integrated fan that utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction, uses Hall sensing components as synchronous detection devices, controls a set of circuits, switches the winding power sequence, generates a rotating magnetic field, and achieves electronic commutation. Cooling fans have obvious advantages in terms of wide speed range, light weight, environmental protection and energy saving, controllability, reliability, environmental resistance and economy. They gradually replace other types of motors in high-performance fields and occupy a dominant position.
A cooling fan is powered by direct current. A DC motor consists of two main parts: a stator and a rotor. The stator has magnetic poles (winding type or permanent magnet type), while the rotor has windings. After the operator applies electricity to them, a magnetic field (magnetic poles) is also formed on the rotor. There is an angle between the magnetic poles of the stator and rotor, and the motor rotates under the mutual attraction of the magnetic fields of the stator and rotor (between the N and S poles).
The technicians of the cooling fan told us that changing the position of the electric brush can change the direction of the angle between the magnetic poles of the stator and rotor (assuming that the magnetic pole of the stator is the starting edge of the angle, the magnetic pole of the rotor is the other side, and the direction from the magnetic pole of the rotor to the magnetic pole of the stator is the rotation direction of the motor). After performing this operation, the rotation direction of the motor can be changed.
That's all for today's sharing about the working principle of the cooling fan. Additionally, we need to note that the cooling fan must be able to provide sufficient exhaust volume (i.e. speed). When the temperature of the hot air in the cooling device is relatively low or there is less hot air flow, it works in reverse.
