 1、 The operating principle of the cooling fan:
  
According to Ampere's right-hand rule, when a conductor passes current, a magnetic field is generated around it. If this conductor is placed in another fixed magnetic field, it will generate attraction or repulsion, causing the object to move. Attach a rubber magnet pre filled with magnetism inside the fan blades of the cooling fan. Surrounding the silicon steel sheet, two sets of coils are wound around the axis, and Hall induction components are used as synchronous detection devices to control a set of circuits that rotate the two sets of coils wound around the axis. Silicon steel sheets produce different magnetic poles, which generate attractive and repulsive forces with rubber magnets. When the repulsive force is greater than the static friction force of the lice fan, the fan blades naturally rotate.
  
2、 Speed of the cooling fan:
  
The speed of a cooling fan refers to the number of times the fan blades rotate per minute, measured in rpm. The fan speed is determined by the number of turns of the coil inside the motor, the operating voltage, the number, inclination angle, height, diameter, and bearing system of the fan blades. The speed and fan quality are not necessarily related. The speed of the cooling fan can be measured through internal speed signals or external measurements (external measurements use other instruments to see how fast the fan is rotating, while internal measurements can be directly checked in the BIOS or through software). The internal measurement has relatively larger errors.
  
As the ambient temperature changes, different speed fans are sometimes required to meet the demand. Both can automatically control the fan speed based on the current working temperature (such as the temperature of the heat sink), increasing the speed when the temperature is high and decreasing the speed when the temperature is low, in order to achieve a dynamic balance and maintain the best combination of wind noise and heat dissipation effect.
  
3、 Airflow of cooling fan:
  
The air volume of a cooling fan refers to the total volume of air discharged or contained by the air-cooled radiator fan per minute. If calculated in cubic feet, the unit is CFM; If calculated in cubic meters, it is CMM. The commonly used air volume unit for radiator products is CFM (approximately 0.028 cubic meters per minute).
  
When the material of the heat sink is the same, air volume is an important indicator to measure the heat dissipation capacity of an air-cooled radiator. Obviously, the larger the air volume, the higher the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator fan. This is because the heat capacity ratio of air is constant, and a larger air volume means that more air can take away more heat per unit time. Of course, the heat dissipation effect is related to the flow of wind under the same air volume. Airflow and wind pressure are two relative concepts.
